Reflection 8

Thanked to Almighty God that finally I can finish this first Language Description coursework for this semester. This coursework was about the topic of Sentences and it aims to consolidate our understanding and knowledge of the three types of sentences.

              For this coursework, I required to classify 20 sentences given in sub task 1 into simple, compound and complex sentences. This task was not a very easy task as I had to look back at my notes on this topic to give the correct answer. In sub task 2, I must select an authentic text of about 500 words and from that selected text; I required to identify four simple sentences, three compound sentences and three complex sentences. I really hope that my chosen sentences from the text are correct. After that, I wrote the characteristics of each sentence type in their respective columns. These tasks can enrich my understanding and make me more clearly about Sentences topic.

              I face some difficulties during finishing this coursework. One of them is the authentic text where I hard to find the text which exactly about 500 words and which contain all the required type of sentences. Thanked God that I can overcome it.

              Last but not least, hopefully that this coursework can really make me more understand about these three types of sentences. Lastly, I hope I can do better for my next coursework.

Reflection 12

Thanked Almighty God that at last, I can finish up this short coursework within the given time.By doing this short coursewok, I can understand more about the poem that we had chose for this short coursework which is “rain” by Muhammad Haji Salleh.I can know more about the literary devices ,themes,issues that raised and tone in this poem. I  got all the information about this poem from the internet and inputs from the lesson with Mr.genga before. Besides,the task that must be done in group which is the potret of this poem had practiced me to be more cooperate and tolerance when doing something in group.

       Study about this poem was enjoyable to me.It had many lesson that I can learnt from that.One of them is it is not easy to get some income especially for the commoner society like farmers.There might be many obstacles to earn some money.Besides,I can know about the poet of this poem which is Muhammad haji Salleh.This is my new knowledge that I gained from this short coursework.

       Last but not least, I hope that I can do better for my next short coursework and gain all the inputs from what I have done.

Reflection 1

Reflection

English language is one of the second-language that we should learnt. A great opportunity is belong to those who expert in English language. Those who can speaking fluently in English language are able to develop their domain in international level.  

Hopefully, I can improve my English language skills under Puan Juainah’s guidance.

Reflection 7

           Thanked God that finally I can finish up this short coursework within the given time.Many knowledges that I gained from doing this cousework.Honestly,before this I am never knew about Bloom’s Taxonomy.It can make me more understand about thinking theories and practice me to apply of thinking skills in learning process weither at the present time or in the future as I am also will become a teacher.

          There are new version and old version of Bloom’s Taxonomy.I can know about the meaning or explaination of each level of Bloom’s Taxonomy(new version).Besides,I am also got the information about the differences between the Old Version and New Version of Bloom’s Taxonomy.I gained many new knowledges through this coursework.

         However,I faced a bit difficult to find the information about the differences between these two versions of Bloom’s Taxonomy.This situation taught me to be patient when doing something especially in my study.

          Last but not least,I am really hope that I can apply this thinking skills in my learning process. I hope that I can do better for my next coursework and gain many new knowledges more.
